Rendra for Chrome · Recreate this photo
Any photo on the web, reshot with your own AI character in it — same pose, same set, same light. Without leaving the page you found it on.
No downloading, no re-uploading, no second tab. The photo you are looking at is the brief.
The full-resolution photo, not the thumbnail the page showed you.
Switch to the hover pill and a small Recreate button rides on whichever photo your pointer is over. One click, no menu.
Top-right of the photo you are on. It follows you down the feed.
Who is in it, and what shape it should be. Everything else the photo already decided.
The credit price is on the button before you press it.
Set up
You need a Rendra account and one character. The extension does nothing on its own.
One click in the Chrome Web Store. Works in Arc, Edge and Brave too.
Press Connect, confirm in your Rendra console. It uses the sign-in you already have — no new password, no key.
Pick the character, pick the shape, press Render. That is the whole workflow.
What it can see
Chrome’s install prompt is blunt, so here is the precise version: the photo you want can be on any site, which is why the permission is wide — and why the behaviour is narrow.
Nothing is sent to Rendra until you choose a photo. No browsing history, no page content, no page address.
The extension fetches the single image you picked and uploads those bytes. That is all that leaves the page.
The panel drawn over a website holds no credential. Log out in the popup and the extension forgets you.
Questions
Installing it is. A recreate is a Studio render like any other, paid in the credits your plan already brings — and the exact price is printed on the Render button before you press it, never after.
A Rendra account and one character with its reference photos in the Studio. Without a character there is nobody to put in the picture, and the panel tells you so instead of showing a dead button.
Yes — and that took work. Instagram, Threads and Facebook lay an invisible layer over every photo, which hides it from the browser’s own image menu. The extension looks underneath, so the entry is there anyway. If it is missing the first time, move the pointer onto the photo and right-click again.
JPEG, PNG and WebP up to 5 MB, at least 320 pixels across. It always grabs the largest version the page offers rather than the thumbnail on screen, because a small reference quietly costs you likeness.
Your call, switched in the toolbar popup and live without a reload. The right-click menu draws nothing on the pages you browse. The pill puts a small Recreate button on whichever photo your pointer is on — one click, no menu. Only one is active at a time, so they never compete.
To the light table in your Studio, next to everything else you have rendered. From there it is one step to your media library, your bio page or your chat.
Add Rendra to Chrome and turn the next photo that stops your scroll into a shot of your own.
